Dr. David Rose grew up in Montpelier, OH before attending Bowling Green State University for his undergraduate education where he majored in Biology, played football and ran track. Upon graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences, he attended The Ohio State University College of Optometry and earned a doctorate in optometry in 2003. Following graduation, Dr. Rose spent one year working within nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospitals for the developmentally disabled where he provided palliative comfort care, treated disease, and improved vision. Since then, Dr. Rose has been in a primary care practice, where he treats eye disease, provides eyeglass prescriptions, and fits contact lenses. Dr. Rose also provides specialty optometric care with an attention towards traumatic brain injury, eye muscle dysfunction, vision therapy and low vision. Dr. Rose is a member of Battlefield Optometric Society, the Virginia Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
When not practicing optometry, Dr. Rose enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, cycling, running and playing guitar. Cell: 614-638-7673
