Vision Therapy
Special tests for special problems
Doctors of optometry are health care providers who examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the visual system, eye, and associated structures, as well as diagnose systemic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. We also co-manage cataract surgery and laser refractive surgery.
In addition to our regular eye examination, we provide computer assisted glaucoma testing, biomicroscopy for the detection of cataracts and external eye abnormalities, pupil dilation and retinal photography for a detailed 'in-eye' health evaluation and computerized visual field plotting for assessment of the peripheral eye pathology and optic nerve disorders. Each test is used to provide you with the most modern and comprehensive eye care available. |
Quality preventative vision careIt begins with eye examinations which are just not "routine". We give each patient as much time as necessary to establish the correct prescription. To double check the accuracy of our findings, we use a highly sophisticated computerized instrument that automatically provides us with a second opinion of the eyeglass or contact lens prescription. We have found this instrument especially useful when handicapped and young children are tested.
